Surf Lessons & Surfing Classes & Surf Schools
In the warm waters of Mexico is a great place to learn to surf and Puerto Escondido is favourite place to get surf lessons. Many of the local surfers provide surf lessons so there isn't a shortage of people willing and able to teach surfing.
The surfing instructors cater for the absolute novice through to those only needing surf coaching (so they can take on the beachbreak waves of Zicatela).
Surf lessons and surfboard rentals in Puerto Escondido Mexico are offered by many and include,

- the beach lifeguards

- Carrisurf shop
- the guys at Carrizalillo beach (if you can't get a lesson with one of the above)
Your own surfboard or transport is not needed when you get a surfing lesson as the surfing school instructors provide these.
Depending on the learners needs and the wave condidtions will determine where the surf classes are held. The main locations where surf lessons are held are at the beaches of La Punta and Carrizalillo (and less times Marinero beach).
