July is not as hot & humid month as June in Puerto Escondido but normally during the month it will still rain many days of each week. The better surfers will be enjoying the quality waves at Zicatela or La Punta for those who need an easier wave to ride. October in Puerto Escondido is normally quieter and not so hot with much of the rain all but finished until next May. The mornings temperatures can feel a bit fresh but within a few hours the hot day has arrived. Daylight savings (summer time) ends in October meaning the sun will start to appear over the hills around 6am giving people more early daylight to do things like stroll along the beach at sunrise.
