November
The month of November each year is beautiful yet busy and a great time to visit Puerto Escondido. There are typically numerous events, with something happening every day almost during November and into the first week or so of December.
The Fiestas de Noviembre (November Festivals) is an annual event in Puerto Escondido and is supported by both municipalities. Events like concerts are mostly held at the town square in town (Agenica) while other events happen on Zicatela beach.

- Motocross Races
- Pro Skate Board Tournament
- Little Miss Puerto Escondido
- Dance Festival
- Grande Parade celebrating the Mexican Revolution
Weather wise, November is also a great time to visit Puerto Escondido. Normally the rains have stopped for the year (and won't start again until maybe May) yet there is still plenty of lush green vegetation.
The November water temperature is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Some days although the different currents may bring a cool change to the sea water temperature. Unless you live in a place with warm ocean waters, you will think the sea waters around Puerto Escondido are hot! By November the waters have cleared (after being clouded during rainy season) so you will get great clarity when scuba diving.
